Annual Leave and Holidays

Employees are provided with 80 hours of annual leave for the first year of employment, 120 hours per year for the second through the fourth years, 160 hours per year for the fifth through ninth years, and 200 hours beginning with ten years of service and thereafter. Annual leave may be taken in accordance with the RMC Employee Handbook.

There are ten paid holidays per year, four of which are floating holidays.

Health Insurance

Health insurance is currently with CareFirst Administrators. Employees contribute to the cost of the insurance based on the level of coverage selected. Elected health insurance coverage begins on or coinciding with the first day of the calendar month following your first day of work.

Dental and Vision

Dental insurance is currently with CareFirst Traditional Dental. Vision insurance is currently with CareFirst BlueVision Plus. You are required to contribute to the cost of the insurance based on the level of coverage selected. Elected insurance coverage begins on or coinciding with the first day of the calendar month following your first day of work.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) allow you to save money on health care and dependent care expenses by using pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible expenses. FSAs are administered by CareFlex. If elected, the first day of availability will be the first day of the calendar month following your first day of work.

Section 125, Cafeteria Plan

The RMC Cafeteria Plan is a premium reduction plan. This plan allows you to pay for health, dental, and vision insurance premiums with pre-tax dollars.

Life and Disability Insurance

The group life insurance benefit for employees is equal to one year’s salary up to $50,000 and premiums are paid by RMC. Coverage will begin on the first day of the calendar month following or coinciding with your first day of work. Additional voluntary group life insurance is available to employees and their dependents.

Voluntary Long-Term & Short-Term Disability Insurance

Group long-term disability and short-term disability insurance is available through Lincoln Financial Group. Premiums are paid entirely by the employee. Short- and long-term disability plans are effective the first day of the calendar month following or coinciding with your first day of work

401(k) Plan

All employees are automatically enrolled in the Resource Management Concepts 401 (k) Plan and Trust through Fidelity Investments. Participation will begin on the first day of the calendar month following your first day of work (must be at least 21 years old).

Tuition Assistance

Tuition assistance is offered for both undergraduate and graduate level courses. Refer to the Tuition Assistance Policy for further details. Eligibility to participate in the tuition assistance program begins after six months of RMC employment.

Direct Deposit

Participation in RMC’s direct deposit program for employee paychecks is mandatory. An employee’s paychecks will be deposited with any bank or financial institution of employee’s choice on the Federal Reserve System. The entire paycheck can be deposited to one account (either checking or savings) or can be split to have a fixed amount of the employee’s paycheck to a savings account with the balance deposited to a checking account.
